Biography

I am a professional Nursing Administrator and Academician, boasting a rich background encompassing clinical, academic, administrative, and research domains. I took a pivotal role in conceiving, launching, and establishing the School of Nursing recognition process with the Pakistan Nursing Council as Founding Principal. Additionally, I played a significant part in the committee responsible for designing the curriculum for PhD Nursing Sciences and Accelerated Master of Science in Nursing programs at Ziaudin University Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery. Following regulatory approval i.e. HEC, PNC, and Government of Sindh, I led the successful initiation of these programs. My skills extend to policy, procedure, and protocol development. I have a track record of actively participating in and presenting at numerous national and international conferences, both orally and through poster presentations. Moreover, my work has been featured in international journals, reflecting my commitment to contributing to the field. Currently, I am working for Ziauddin University Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery as Principal/Director Undergraduate Program & Associate Professor (Karachi, Pakistan); Visiting Professor for Nursing and Bioethics at American University of Sovereign Nations (Arizona, United States of America); and Visiting Professor for Shalamar Medical and Dental College Department of Bioethics (Lahore, Pakistan). I also serve as Vice-President for Pakistan for the Asian Bioethics Association and Vice-President for Provincial Nurses Association, Sindh.
